I’m overhearing this conversation between these two girls one is telling the other how her “boyfriend” disrespected her mother verbally and that she feels guilty for continuing to talk to him after the fact then she’s like “and it just really sucks bc we’re technically not together so I’m constantly walking on eggshells trying not to piss him off and it’s scary to know any day he could be like fuck this bitch peace out” like this reminded me of this girl I no longer talk to and for almost 4 years it was like a daily battle between her and her abusive boyfriend like petty things like this but also physical beating to the point of temporarily losing vision and constantly filing police reports and cheating and contracting chlamydia multiple times and prison time for fucking minors and like this girl could not stay away still paying his phone bill and treating him to disneyland and dropping off food at his house I felt like I was the only one who had to listen to shit like this but no this is like a trending thing these women with like absolutely no self-esteem like if you have nothing you feel good about then find something to give yourself that self worth you come from somewhere and you’ve made it up to this point in your life like fuck find pride in your mom even like nodoby deserves to be constantly mistreated even if they hate themselves more than their abusers this is such a sad thing to me is the meaningless sex and occasional attention really worth it don’t settle for anything please
